Lava Lava Beach Club

Kapaa’s Lava Lava Beach Club is the only “toes in the sand” dining experience on the island, making it a can’t-miss attraction. You can stop by for any meal of the day, but the real fun happens at night. Try favorite cocktails like Sandy Toes or the Dizzy Donkey, or customize your own margarita! Grab a bite to eat as well, like their chicken pineapple fried rice bowl or coconut shrimp. If you visit at dinner, you can enjoy live music after 5 p.m.! There’s no better combination than a delicious meal, a gorgeous view, great music, and soft, white sand between your toes.

Lava Lava Beach Club is located at 420 Papaloa Road in Kapaa. Food is served daily from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m., and the bar remains open until 10 p.m.

Rob’s Good Times Grill

Pegged “Kauai’s Best Sports Bar,” Rob’s Good Times Grill is the perfect spot to grab a cold one and relax with your friends. Their nightlife is constant and always new, from live music every weeknight to trivia on Thursdays and club dancing until 2 a.m. on the weekends. You can even try karaoke! Come in for dinner to try a fish sandwich or build your own burger, get a flatbread, or try one of their unique French fry options.

Rob’s is located at 4303 Rice Street in Lihue. The kitchen is open from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m., but the fun continues with drinks and dancing until 2 a.m.

Stevenson’s Sushi & Spirits

Named for famed author Robert Louis Stevenson, this eatery welcomes you to a more upscale atmosphere while you enjoy your evening drinks and entertainment. You’ll be transported to a Victorian-style gentleman’s club where you can sip Cognac or join a game of chess. Have a bite to eat while you’re there, like miso soup or any of their plentiful sushi options. This is the perfect destination for a sophisticated drink with your sweetheart.

Stevenson’s is located at 1571 Poipu Road in Koloa. Sushi is served from 5:30-9:30 p.m., and the lounge remains open until midnight.

Keoki’s Paradise

Keoki’s Paradise on the south side is the place to enjoy family fun all night long. Ingredients are always local and fresh, and your delicious meal will be accompanied by breathtaking views and lively Hawaiian music. Try classic dishes like fried calamari, or go bold with roasted red pepper rubbed tofu. They also have an extensive wine and cocktail menu. 

Keoki’s is located at 2360 Kiahuna Plantation Drive in Koloa. The bar and café open at 11 a.m., and dinner is served from 4:45 p.m. onward.
