What to Eat in Kapa’a, HI on Your Kauai Vacation

Of course, there are plenty of salads for you to choose from as well including the house salad, wedge salad, and the Caprese style tomatoes. 

 The entrees at Oasis at the Beach include the grilled catch, mauka burger, and short rib, among many others. The restaurant makes it a point to include options for their vegetarian customers as well including curry and a taro burger. As sides, you can choose from mashed potatoes, sauteed vegetables, sweet potato puree, french fries, and many more! If you are looking for variety, definitely head over to Oasis at the Beach. 

Java Kai

If you enjoy visiting a good coffee shop that offers plenty of food options as well, Java Kai might be the one for you. When you visit here, you can find different breakfast and lunch options to accompany a good old cup of joe. 

At Java Kai, you can expect to find plenty of different coffee options such as drips, espressos, americanos, cappuccinos, and lattes. If you would rather have something that will keep you cool, you can have one of their iced coffees including cold brew, americano, and lattes.  

They even have non-coffee options for those that prefer to avoid as much caffeine or would rather not drink coffee. Those options include matcha lattes, chai lattes, kai chai, golden milk latte, lavender London fog, hot chocolate, hot tea, and Keiki hot chocolate.

Kountry Kitchen

For a hearty portion of food, head over to Kountry Kitchen where you will be sure to leave satisfied! They also have plenty of other large portions for breakfast including omelets, french toast, and waffles! The Kountry Favorites menu includes pork chops and eggs, steak and eggs, and kalua pork and eggs. You can always add your favorite side to your meal as well and choose from hash browns, corned beef, toast, an English muffin, and many more!

During lunch, you can count on a variety of hamburgers, sandwiches, and specialty plates including steak, pork chops, and pork. This restaurant is well known for its plate-sized macadamia nut pancakes accompanied with coconut syrup, so if you are feeling extra hungry, make sure you head over to Kountry Kitchen.

Sam’s Ocean View

Another one of Kapa’a’s restaurants includes Sam’s Ocean view, which as you can probably guess, offers a beautiful view of the ocean while you dine. At Sam’s, you will find various sizes of meals including the smaller options of nachos, salads, toast, and grilled cheese sandwiches. The entrees include fish and chips and parmesan-crusted island fish. If you would rather avoid seafood, there are a variety of options for you including steak, quinoa bowls, and boneless chicken as well.

What makes Sam’s Ocean View stand out is its extensive drinks menu. At the bar, you will find different cocktails including mai tai, margaritas, martinis, and various spritz.
